Check out these simple make-up tricks for Christmas party!

Winter parties ahead of Christmas are aplenty, and playing around with your looks using simple make-up tricks would make you stand out. So, try using white-gold colour on your eyes or do up your hair in a messy bun or braid on the day, suggests an expert.

* Eyes: Start with applying a dark grey eye-shadow on your eye lids and follow up with patting on some antique black shimmer for a sultry look. Now, contour using a black shade on the outer corners of your peepers and smudge out for a softer look.
Then, highlight on the eyebrow bones using a white-gold colour and also apply hints of it on the inner corners to instantly brighten up the eyes. Then, use a little copper shade below your lids and define the upper lash-line with a winged liner in jet-black hue.
Adorn your waterline with lining it using a midnight-black coloured kohl followed by applying double coats of mascara to open-up the eyes. Finish off with cleaning the face to remove all the fall-outs happened during the eye make-up and get ready to be the limelight of the party.
* Base: A tinted moisturizer can be perfect choice as a make-up base in this season of chill. As apart from providing the much-needed moisture, it will also hide all the flaws of the skin while making it appear even-toned.
Now, seal the look for your Christmas by means of powdering the base well with a matching two-way cake; this will give velvety-finish to the do. Then, contour below your cheekbones using a light brown shade and follow by applying pink or peach shade blusher.
* Lips: Incept your Christmas Party lip-do with lining your lips using a quality lip-liner preferably in bright shades like fuchsia pink, ripe orange or any ravishing shade of red, to add some style. Fill in with the same colour and seal the look with a gloss.
Make sure to choose a long-lasting variety of lip products to turn your makeup last all-night during the party.
* Hair: Most of the girls would want to let their hair down. Be it soft curls or straightened hair -- both will steal the show. Trying out some new hairstyles is recommended as well. Hair styles like, a messy bun, side bun or messy braid are much in fashion too and can donned for a diva-like look.

Style tips: Layer up, look fashionable this party season

Show off all those dresses but keep yourself warm using different layers like coats and jackets for this party season, says an expert.

Sidhika Gupta, Fashion Head at Roposo, a fashion and lifestyle social network, has rolled out a few tips and tricks that you could use while dressing up for a party:
*Transitional layering: It's perfectly acceptable and absolutely smart to carry your summer favourites to the winter. All you need is a little colour balancing and subtle winter styling.
Dress up your denims by layering it with a sheer lace slit-dress, or slay your slip dress over a full-sleeved turtle-neck knit. Even your distressed denim jacket and beige shorts have the dinner potential.
*Statement jacket: Wear a decorative coat and don't take it off, even indoors. What's a party without a statement evening coat? This season be brave with your outermost layering and do not succumb to the ‘everyone has one' black coat.
*Pop it out: So what if the sun is down, pop out in a super vibrant colour. Take cues from the newly released pantone colour of 2017 - greenery, or stick to the classic red in the true Christmas spirit.
Avoid colour overkill, just inlay the colour to pop your otherwise muted outfit. Throw on a pair of chunky black block heels with a matching clutch to complete the look.
*The unexpected twist: Pair a lace blouse with a leather mini-skirt, or spice up your little black dress for an ultimate naughty-meets-nice contrast. Create the high-low by combining striking pieces.
Sport the 1980s disco queen in a one-shouldered dress, or make heads turn in a high slit version - adding a flair to your basics is the key. Voluminous hair, tassel earrings, and oversized specs is the quirk we are talking about.
*Sparkle in sequin: If you want your outfit to speak louder than words then dazzle the dance floor in a sparkly and shimmery masterpiece. Heavily embellished or jewel encrusted highlights, more the bling the better.
If you are not in for an over-the-top statement, then swap your embellished dress with a skirt or flared pant and offset the sheen with a pixie white top.
*Metallic midi: Metallic micro pleated skirt is really big this year, and makes a stunning choice for the party season. Pair a silver skirt with a crisp white shirt, or go bold in black metallic with a dainty red ruffle top.
*Velvet suit: Ditch the tweed or plaids, and trade in for an overall velvet suit. Take the look to the holiday soiree in deep burgundy, navy, or emerald green. If you are the chic, all black type, then go for the classic jumpsuit silhouette.

Sunny Leone denies being offered Rs 4 cr to perform on 'Laila Main Laila'

Actress Sunny Leone has shot down claims that she was offered Rs 4 crore to perform live on her song 'Laila main Laila' from superstar Shah Rukh Khan's film 'Raees' at a New Year party.

She says she would be the 'happiest person' if the news was true.
"I wish that was true. I will be the happiest person on the planet if I was paid Rs 4 crore for my song to perform in Mumbai. I hope it comes true but unfortunately it's not true," Sunny told IANS.
She added: "I am looking forward to perform on this song."

New Year's Eve style tips: Get some hair makeover

With New Year comes the joy to dress up for the occasion. Celebrating at work, at school, in the family circle or partying with friends, you certainly want to look special and a lovely hairstyle can give a makeover to your look, say experts.

Experts from Advanced Hair Studio dole out some classy hair style tips to look ultra-glamorous during this festive season.
Textured middle bun: This is perhaps one of the best and cutest hairstyles for a New Year party. The hair is tousled and shaped into an airy bun with a messy feel. The style is finished with a tendril escaping one side and a sparkly hair accessory that's perfect for the holiday season.
High textured ponytail: Ponytails are one of the few hairstyles that are appropriate for every occasion, even during the holiday season. This ponytail is pretty and party-ready. The placement of this ponytail is high on the head, which allows the long, touchable curls to cascade over the shoulders, framing and softening the face.
Messy updo with side bangs: This updo is a hundred percent effortless and trendy. Medium-sized sections of hair are twisted and pinned in random order to enhance the messy feel. A gold leaf headband is a nice finishing touch to pull everything together.
Curly bob with side braid: Hairstyles for New Year's Eve can be very dressy and sophisticated or more casual and modern. A bob is amped up with thick curls. Also an unfinished side braid is placed in front along the hairline with a single sparkly hair clip to keep the look festive.
